Kallee says, "Mom I am glad I am a human and not a bunny!"
I respond that I am glad she is a human so I can give her hugs and kisses.
Jakey responds, "I wish I was a groundhog!"
I was laughing too hard to find out why...

Kallee finished the first set of "Bob Books" today. Ken and I took the kids to Chuckee Cheese to celebrate their accomplishment!

Jakob finished the first set of "BOB Books" tonight!  We are so proud of our little reader!

Kallee's favorite foods are peanut butter sandwiches and spaghetti (basgetty)!

Jakey loves Mac n' cheese and Chinese food.

They are both learning to read! They are great artists and their penmanship improves each day.

The other day Jakey sounded out and wrote "Ken" by himself.

Riding down the road today Jakey told Kallee and I he wanted to be a bird so he could fly. I told him I didn't want him to be a bird because then I couldn't give him hugs.

Then Jakey said he wanted to catch a bird. Kallee told him to catch a bird you hold out your index finger like a princess and the bird will land on it. Jakey then said then he would smash it!

Sometimes the kids like to have sleep-overs in each other's room.  Tonight they slept in Jakey's room!

We had family night at Tempanaki.  The kids loved how they cooked the food in front of us with fire!

Kallee had her Christmas performance for TRIO (dancing, singing & performing studio).  She sang the line, "Gone away is the blue bird, here to stay is the new bird," as her solo from the song Winter Wonderland.  She did an excellent job singing and dancing.

Kallee and Jakob performed in the Newcastle Christmas program.  They did a fantastic job singing many holiday songs!

Polar Express

We rode on the Polar Express to the North Pole and got to meet the real Santa!  We stopped in Park City and had pizza before the ride.  Waiting for the train was very cold but we got hot chocolate and a cookie to warm us up on the train.  The kids were so excited to get a silver bell from Santa's sleigh.  Jakey told Santa he wanted a train for Christmas and Kallee told Santa she wanted a Minnie Mouse Castle!  This family adventure was AWESOME!
