Neighborhood Parade

We had a neighborhood parade today. Jakey dressed up as Incredible Hulk and pulled Kallee, dressed as a Princess, in the wagon decorated as a beautiful carriage.  The whole thing was Jakob's idea!

First Day of Kindergarten

Jakob's and Kallee's first day of Kindergarten.  Jake's teacher is Ms. Cameron.  Kallee's teacher is Ms. Butler.

Preschool Graducation

Jakob and Kallee graduated from Newcastle Preschool.  They were sad to leave their teacher, Ms. Debbie and their friends.

For Kallee's TRIO performance, her group sang "Rainbow Connection."  Kallee's part, "Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?  The voice might be one and the same."  She did a great job singing it loud and clear!

We had a great family vacation!

On our second day at Lego Land, the kids built speed cars and raced them!  We also got to do many of our favorite rides again and see more things build of LEGOS!

We had dinner at Dini's by the ocean and got to see a beautiful sunset!

Lego Land was great!  The kids loved the rides and seeing all the neat things made of LEGOS!

The weather was nice and cool at the Safari Park.  We got to see elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, lions, rhinos, beautiful birds, and many other wild life.

The weather was overcast for the week, but we still had fun at the beach!  We also visited the aquarium.

We got to go to Sea World and met the Bennetts there.  It was great to see the dolphins and the whales.  The kids loved the rides and playing with their friends!

We survived Tax Season, so we took the kids to California.  We stopped in Las Vegas on the way and checked out the M&M Factory and the Coca-Cola Store.

Jakey and Kallee made these Easter Baskets at school.

Kallee says, "Mom I am glad I am a human and not a bunny!"
I respond that I am glad she is a human so I can give her hugs and kisses.
Jakey responds, "I wish I was a groundhog!"
I was laughing too hard to find out why...

Kallee finished the first set of "Bob Books" today. Ken and I took the kids to Chuckee Cheese to celebrate their accomplishment!

Jakob finished the first set of "BOB Books" tonight!  We are so proud of our little reader!

Kallee's favorite foods are peanut butter sandwiches and spaghetti (basgetty)!

Jakey loves Mac n' cheese and Chinese food.

They are both learning to read! They are great artists and their penmanship improves each day.

The other day Jakey sounded out and wrote "Ken" by himself.

Riding down the road today Jakey told Kallee and I he wanted to be a bird so he could fly. I told him I didn't want him to be a bird because then I couldn't give him hugs.

Then Jakey said he wanted to catch a bird. Kallee told him to catch a bird you hold out your index finger like a princess and the bird will land on it. Jakey then said then he would smash it!

Funny kids...all boy and a princess!
