Jakey asked his Dad what the sores were called on his leg. Ken replied they were called owees. Jakey told his Dad he thought they were called "twinkle twinkle little owees!"

Jakey peed in the toilet once last night and two times today! Hooray!

Jakey and Kallee love talking about their birthday. They discuss what presents they want and what kind of cake they want. I have been trying to explain their birthday is not for a while by telling them when it is, November 20th.

The other day I asked Kallee when her birthday is and she told me November 20th. I asked Jakey the same question and he shot back, FRIDAY! They make me laugh!

A few days ago Jakey told his Dad the moon was fixed. Ken didn't know it was broken but then realized that Jakey was referring to when there was a half of a moon and now the moon is full again!

Kallee was sitting on Grandpa Larry's lap at the office. Grandpa drew Kallee and Jakey a picture and wrote their names next to their faces. Kallee corrected Grandpa when he spelled her name with one "l" instead of two!

This morning the kids were watching "Sid the Science Kid," and Sid stated he had the best Grandma in the world. Kallee chimed in..."I do too!"

Last night, Ken and I checked on Jakey and Kallee before going to bed. We found Kallee naked with diaper on...Jakey without pajama bottoms and UNDERWEAR on backwards. Now this is big considering Jakey doesn't want to wear underwear and he may be 10 before he gets potty trained. Today, Jakey wants nothing to do with underwear. What is a mother to do?

Jakey's and Kallee's first dance recital. They did a short tap dance. Jakey stood there and didn't dance. Kallee followed along pretty well.

We got a "Little People" nativity set and I was explaining the nativity story. I said the baby Jesus was born in a manager and Jakey exclaimed and questioned, "Jesus Christ!"

Jakey asked his Dad if he could have another birthday because he had so much fun yesterday!

New PJ's

Aunt Sunny and Uncle Scott gave the kids these wonderful PJ's for their birthday. They like to wear them every night!

Jakey and Kallee turned 3 today! The Colliers, Sauks, and Lewis' came over for an "UP" themed party. We had lots of balloons, cupcakes and a bouncy. We had a great time!

Kallee and Jakey had their first dentist appointment today. No cavities!

Today Kallee was wearing some pants that have "Princess" embroidered on the behind. She was admiring herself in the mirror!
