We went hiking with the Colliers and Lewis' up Alta Canyon.

Kallee got new green and purple striped pajamas.  Jakey said to Kallee, "Kallee I sure do like those pajamas.  If I were a girl, those would be my favorite!"

We were over at the Colliers.  Kallee put on an apron, sat down on this rug and read to her (pretend) class for the longest time.  I LOVE IT!

Go UTES!

Kallee says to me this morning, "Mom I am growing!" "Yes you are!" "I am getting so big I can go to school!"

I don't want to announce this to the world or anthing but Jakey has pooped everyday on the toilet for the 9 days.  No accidents!!!!!!!!

We went to Snowbird for Oktoberfest on Labor Day.  We rode the ski lift to the top of that mountain and went through the tunnel to look at American Fork canyon.

Game Day!

Jakey was asking me for a bunch of things at the same time this morning. I explained I only have two hands and can only do so much at a time. He told me I could grow new arms out my shoulders...all I have to do is water my shoulders!

Jakey told me today that he thinks we should get a motorcycle.  I told him we didn't have the money to buy a motorcycle.  He told me we should sell our cars and buy a motorcycle.  I told him to discuss it with his Dad when he got home (thinking Jakey would forget about it).  When Ken came through the door, Jakey told him, "Dad, we should sell our cars and buy a motorcycle!"

I told the kids we were going to watch our friend Madi cheer at a football game. Jakey asked if she was going to ride a motorcycle with a Care Bear!

Yesterday, I was at the chiropractor with the kids. Jakey tells me he wants to tell me a secret so I lean down and he whispers mumbo jumbo words in my ear. I was laughing so hard which made him laugh!

Kallee is so pretty to me. Yesterday I bought her a pink head band and she was so excited, however Jakey wanted one too and keeps asking me for one!

Jakey and I were playing baseball tonight. He can hit the ball when I throw it to him! He is pretty good. However when I ask him to throw me the ball so I could hit it he did it two times and the ball didn't go where he expected and he said, "Mom I am not very good at this!" That made me sad, but I also thought it was funny because he only tried it twice.

Kallee was making up the funniest songs and signing them. One started, with a cow in a tree...I was laughing too hard to find out what happened next. While in the car today, she was singing about everything she saw, cars, trees, grass, flowers, parks...It was a beautiful song!

Jakey loves cars! He points out all "GMC's" that he sees, all cars with the same make as ours (Nissan), and all cars that are just like his Dad's! He especially likes the "300 M" from Chrysler and will tell me when he sees one, "Mom I sure do like that car!"

We are in Mountain Home visiting Gram and Papa.  Kallee loves to play dress-up and get animals and Barbies and play pretend under Gram's and Papa's table.  She told me this was her "Club House."

Throughout the summer Kallee and Jakey have been taking swimming lessons from a girl in the neighborhood.  They are doing well and can put their heads under the water.  Today they are trying on their new swim goggles!

Today was our last day in Smart Sports.  As the picture describes, it didn't end well.  The instructors wanted the kids to play a soccer game before they got their trophies and certificates.  Jakey and Kallee were on the same team.  The instructor told Jakey he could kick the ball off to start the game.  Well...another kid beat him to the kickoff and Jakey was very upset.  So Jakey and Ken are off to the side and Ken is trying to talk to Jakey.  I am with Kallee trying to get her interested in chasing after the ball and kicking it.  The ball finally comes to us and I tell her to kick it.  She just looks at it.   Jakey gets back into the game with fire.  He is pushing his way to get to the ball so he can kick it and the instructors tell him to be gentle.  He gets mad again and starts crying to Ken.  The game ends, with no help from Kallee and Jakey.  They get their trophies and certificates and Jakey is crying the whole time.
